| I Miss You |
I miss you
like the heart misses beating
the lungs crave a breath
the eagle cries to fly.
I miss you
like a child yearns to laugh
a black lab longs to smile
a lover dreaming of you.
Being apart
is tearing me apart
intertwined trees
damaged irreparably
if separated
death at the prospect
of not being enwrapped
in each other
our bark grown together
a joint skin
self-made siamese
by choice of Love
We held each other
and said
Yes. You will share my life.
Baby I miss you so much.
